ControlPoint Technologies is currently supporting Electric Power Utilities with Control House Replacement projects.

Control House replacement projects improve substation reliability and allow for transmission system upgrade and expansion.  A typical project will include Protection and Control fabrication design with cutover design packages between stations.   Each connecting transmission substation is field assessed, conceptually engineered and detailed designed to facilitate the control house replacement(s).  This includes:  substation transformers and circuit breaker protection and controls.

Scope of work includes all Protection and Controls Engineering required, including:  Relay Settings, IEC-61850 Integration where applicable.  Deliverables include:  one line diagrams, three line diagrams, control schematics, protection and control panel layouts, physical drawings, substation arrangement drawings, bill of materials, cable/conduit schedules, SCADA requirements, and interconnection diagrams.
