Available Positions

Electrical Engineer

Seeking Electrical Engineer to work with the Substation and Protection & Control Engineering team. Candidate will be expected to perform P&C Design for substations with voltage levels from 5kV to 115kV.

Position may include full or partial responsibility of the following assignments:

  • Protection and control design including one lines, three lines, AC and DC schematics, panel arrangements, equipment wiring and relay panel wiring
  • Prepare calculations for studies and reports (grounding, lighting protection, AC/DC load studies, etc.)
  • Prepare equipment specifications for procurement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from accredited program
Senior Protection and Control Engineer

Senior Protection and Control (P&C) Engineer to support its Substation and Protection & Control Department. Candidate will be expected to perform P&C Design for substations with voltage levels from 5kV to 115kV.

Position may include full or partial responsibility of the following assignments:

  • Develop scopes of work, conceptual designs
  • Protection and control design including one lines, three lines, AC and DC schematics, panel arrangements, equipment wiring and relay panel wiring
  • Prepare calculations for studies and reports (grounding, lighting protection, AC/DC load studies, etc.)
  • Relay Settings
  • Prepare equipment specifications for procurement and/or factory acceptance testing
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced team members
  • Meet and correspond with clients
  • Project administration
  • Excellent communication skills

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from accredited program
  • PE preferred
  • Minimum 6 years related experience
  • AutoCad experience preferred
Senior Planning Engineer

ControlPoint Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Planning Engineer to provide Technical Leadership for Electric Utility Projects.

Position Summary

The Senior Distribution Planning Engineer will be based in our Rockland, MA office.

Must have direct experience with Distribution System Planning and Distributed Generation Projects in the Electric Power Industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering; Masters Degree Preferred
  • Power Engineering Professional Engineer License and NCEES Certification
  • A minimum of five (5) years experience in the electric utility industry is required.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and high level of business and engineering ethics.
  • Communicate as needed with clients to ensure positive client experience.

Distribution Designer

We are seeking an experienced electrical designer with a background in the engineering and design of utility Distribution systems. The position will include project design associated with line projects, overhead and underground distribution, voltage conversions, programs, and infrastructure upgrade projects for large and small utilities. 

An Associate's Degree is required with a background in electrical utility / power systems engineering and design.  Position will require client interface, engineering and design experience, project administration and excellent communication skills.  Full time and Part time positions available.

Substation Project Manager | Project Lead Engineer

We are seeking an experienced substation project manager with a background in the engineering and design of Substations. The position will include project engineering, project supervision, and management of all design projects associated with substation project construction and upgrades. 

A BSEE is required (PE Preferred) with a background in electrical utility / power systems engineering and design.  Position will require client interface, engineering and design experience, project administration and excellent communication skills.  Full time and Part time positions available.
